The apartment is approximately 23 kms from Faro airport. Taxis are plentiful and local buses are cheap. Car rental costs much the same as in the UK. There are several good restaurants within walking distance, most of which accept credit cards. The nearest beach is about 20 minutes on foot from the apartment. Other beaches and water theme parks can be reached by bus.
