The 3 steps to having your own web site are :

  • choosing your web site name
  • registering the name and arranging hosting
  • deciding on the design of your site

Web Site Name

The most common web site names in the UK are ones that end .co.uk but there are other options like .com and .net.

You can check your web site name availability at ukreg.com.

Registering & Hosting

The easiest way of doing this is for me to register your web site name and arrange hosting for you with Penguin Internet Ltd.

Website Design

I can either base your web site on ones I have previously done (see website examples page) or if you have your own design in mind then you can send me your ideas as a starting point.

Features can include :
  • links to other web sites
  • link to your email address
  • photos and movie clips
  • a counter (so you can see how many people are visiting your site)
  • an enquiry form for people to send you messages.
